SPExpo is an extraordinary event hosted by the IEEE SPS Student Branch Chapter at the College of Engineering Karunagappally, with the esteemed support of IEEE Signal Processing Society. Our mission is to introduce young minds to the captivating world of signal processing through engaging sessions and interactive workshops.
We are organising an exhibition involving college students in which they could exhibit their projects based on signal processing. The event mainly has two phases.
As part of the first phase there will be an online filtering process on the basis of the project descriptions and questions asked in the provided google form. After that there will be an evaluation process and then selected participants should present the working model of the project in offline mode at the college. Selected participants will be given time slots to present their project in our college. The participants will receive updates on time slots and date of the presentation through given contact details.After the second phase, final evaluation of the project is conducted and then the winners will be selected. Through this idea Signal processing will become more prominent and popular among the youth. We are providing all the basic knowledge they need to get started with Signal processing and
help them advance in their career.
We aim at giving basic lectures and workshops on the introduction and use of arduino to the school students, so that it could help them in doing projects on the same which pave a way to enhance their technical knowledge and bring them close towards the industrial aspects in their young age. The sessions and workshops will be mentored by expert members of our student branch chapter for smooth communication between students. Through this we aim at educating the interested students in about 6 schools in our college locality.

Selected participants will be given time slots to present their project idea in our college. The participants will receive updates on time slots and date of the presentation through given contact details. After the second phase, final evaluation of the project idea is conducted and then the winners will be selected.After the mentioned events we will be conducting an idea pitching competition related signal processing inspired from our sessions taken earlier. Then selected ideas will be awarded with cash prizes.
